JOLLYJO: THE MAKEOVER IS COMPLETE...NOW WHAT?

Great content...that is now our focus! Through Helium, the place where you write, rate, learn and earn, we have launched a our very first campaign to find more great content. If you are a freelance writer and are interested in writing on any of the following topics, we would love to hear from you.

1) Search Engine Evolution: Where they started and where they are today.

a. Minimum - 1500 words. Explore the evolution of the Internet search engines from the very first ones through the state of the Internet search engine industry today. Identify the impact the burst of the Dot Com bubble in March of 2000 had on search engines and the search engine industry. Use easy to understand language and a style accessible to the interested, but not necessarily professional, readers. Provide URLs to images as references.

2) The Key Ingredients for Grasping a Second Chance in Life.

a. 300 – 600 words. What is necessary in order to recover from major life setbacks? Identify the necessary elements – the key ingredients – and describe how they go together to help one get back onto ones own feet. Why are these necessary? What are the sources? How can someone obtain these ingredients if needed?

3) Search Engines: Viable Alternatives to Google

a. Minimum - 1500 words. Google has taken the world by storm. But what if you don’t want to “Google it”? What would you do then? When would you not want to use Google and why? Create an argument and support it with destinations and examples to illustrate when and why Google isn’t your best search engine choice.

4) Will Al Gore Bid for 2008 and Could He Do It?

a. 500 – 700 words. Explore Al Gore’s initial bid for the Presidency and discuss the factors that could effect his decision to run for the Oval Office in 2008. Include his campaign to raise awareness of the dangers posed by climate change. Identify the possibilities and probabilities for a successful presidential run and Gore’s chances for being elected.
